## Problem

Cronitor is a hosted cron and heartbeat desk. You wanted a ping URL on a box you run. Healthchecks is BSD-3-Clause (healthchecks/healthchecks; last push 22 Oct 2026) — cron job and background-task monitoring in Django. Uptime Kuma is MIT if the job is HTTP/TCP uptime rather than a cron heartbeat — /compare/healthchecks-vs-uptime-kuma. This is not Cronitor's every status page, RUM, or last-mile SKU. HTTP uptime stays on /replace/pingdom and /replace/statuscake (Checkcle). Dashboards stay on /replace/datadog (Grafana).
