Easy

Karakeep / Linkwarden

Saved images and links you host. Karakeep is AGPL-3.0; Linkwarden is AGPL-3.0 — Pinterest without the hosted board seat.

The problem

Pinterest is a hosted visual bookmark graph. You wanted saved images and links on hardware you control. Karakeep is AGPL-3.0 (karakeep-app/karakeep; last push 24 Oct 2026) — bookmarks, notes, and images. Linkwarden is AGPL-3.0 and already on /replace/raindrop. Pinry is a closer board UI (BSD-2-Clause) but the last commit on pinry/pinry is 9 July 2025 — not the published path. This is not Pinterest's every discovery, ads, or shopping SKU. A photo social feed stays on /replace/instagram.

Agent setup prompt

Replace Pinterest with Karakeep (preferred saved-image box) or Linkwarden (archived bookmarks).

- Official docs. Persist the database and archive volume. Save one image and one link. Do not claim Pinterest discovery or shopping.
- Pinry looks closer as a board but is not the published path (last pinry/pinry commit July 2025). Write AGENT_PROMPT.md.

FAQ

Karakeep or Linkwarden?
Karakeep if you want the published Pinterest path (images plus notes). Linkwarden if you already live on /replace/raindrop.
Why not Pinry?
Pinry is a tiling board, but pinry/pinry last committed 9 July 2025. This page uses the maintained AGPL boxes.
Are these free?
Karakeep and Linkwarden are AGPL-3.0. You pay hosting. Template users never pay c17.
