# pretix / Mobilizon / Gancio

Events you host. pretix is AGPLv3 with additional terms for tickets; Mobilizon and Gancio are AGPL-3.0 community agendas — Eventbrite and Meetup without the listing fee.

## Problem

Eventbrite meters tickets and listings. Meetup meters groups. You wanted registration you run. pretix is AGPLv3 with additional terms that restrict offering pretix as SaaS to third parties — running it for your own events is the intended path. Mobilizon is AGPL-3.0 (Framagit kaihuri/mobilizon) for federated events and groups. Gancio is AGPL-3.0 (Framagit les/gancio) for a local shared agenda. Indico is MIT (CERN) if the job is a conference timetable, not a ticket shop. This is not Eventbrite Boost ads or Meetup's every paid group SKU. Scheduling polls stay on /replace/doodle.
