rembg
Background removal you run. rembg is MIT — remove.bg without the credit meter.
The problem
remove.bg meters background-removal credits. You wanted a library and CLI on hardware you control. rembg is MIT (danielgatis/rembg). It needs a model file and usually a CPU or GPU; it is not a pretty hosted editor. imgproxy stays the Cloudinary-shaped resize pipeline (/replace/cloudinary). This is not remove.bg's every Photoshop plugin or batch-API SKU. GIMP stays general raster (/replace/photoshop).

FAQ
- Is this a hosted editor?
- No. rembg is a library/CLI you run. remove.bg is the pretty meter. That is the point.
- Why not imgproxy?
- imgproxy resizes and serves images (/replace/cloudinary). This page removes backgrounds.
