Stacks / Sync
restic / Kopia / Duplicati
Backups you encrypt. restic is BSD-2-Clause; Kopia is Apache-2.0; Duplicati's root LICENSE is MIT — Backblaze Personal Backup without the vendor vault as the only copy.
The problem
Backblaze Personal Backup is a consumer backup subscription to their cloud. You wanted encrypted snapshots on a disk or bucket you control. restic is BSD-2-Clause. Kopia is Apache-2.0 with a GUI. Duplicati's root LICENSE is MIT (proprietary/ if present is separate). BorgBackup is a 3-clause BSD-style archiver already on /best/backup. This is not Backblaze B2 object storage (/replace/aws-s3) and not a file-sync share (/replace/dropbox). Restore one file as the test. Do not invent a restore-success rate.

Placeholder: restic/Kopia/Duplicati run as a job against a volume or S3-compatible bucket you already have. A single public website is the wrong shape. No one-click template in this repo yet — Start on Railway. Object storage stays on /stacks/minio-object.

Agent setup prompt

The destination can be a volume, another disk, or S3-compatible storage you already run. - This is not B2 as a product page (/replace/aws-s3). Write AGENT_PROMPT.md.

FAQ
- restic or Kopia?
- restic if you want the small CLI. Kopia if you want snapshots plus a GUI. Duplicati if you want a web UI. Pick one repository format on day one.
- Is this Backblaze B2?
- No. B2 is object storage — /replace/aws-s3. This page is the backup client. You can point restic at B2 or at a bucket you host.
- Where do the blobs go?
- A volume, an S3-compatible store (/best/object-storage), or another disk you own.
